VERA WHOLE HEALTH

Organization-wide content strategy development

When Vera Whole Health wanted to develop a content marketing program that would grow it's brand and establish it as a leader in advanced primary care, they turned to A Brave New to develop a content strategy that could ensure their efforts delivered the desired results.

Determining the core strategy

We conducted customer research to develop personas that would be the focus of content creation efforts. These personas were overlaid with Vera's business goals to develop a content strategy that had four main themes tied to the strategic goals of the organization. This strategy was used to build a comprehensive editorial strategy that grew Vera's web sessions by 359% over 5 years.

Architecting the content experience

In addition to planning out what content to create, we spent time envisioning what we wanted the content experience to feel like, how it should look, and in what various formats we should present the content to users.

Defining content structure

In order to ensure that content could be created consistently, we defined the structure of each of our content types and built out an editorial plan that defined the following for each persona: type of content, frequency of content delivery, key messages, and metrics we would measure to determine success.

Establishing a repeatable process

The final ingredient to develop was a process for creating high-quality content over time. This included process flows for content creation, content review, and content approval.
